I had it 5-3 mayweather. I can see your 4-4, though.

What is the point? That it was a close fight on the cards up until Chavez got TKO'd?

Mayweather and Hopkins are guys who give up early rounds to dominate the latter part of the fight. You know this. SRL was behind on the cards up until he TKO'd Hearns. That's boxing.

My point is that Hatton is a bigger, faster, stronger version of Chavez. Mayweather didn't put a freakin' dent in Chavez up until the stoppage. Not one single dent.

        1) Is Mayweather still a lightweight? Isn't this 2007 model a bigger, stronger version of Mayweather?

        2) If Chavez suffered no damage, why did his corner throw in the towel? Help me here.

TO ME, Ricky is substantially less skilled than those guys. Ricky dominated a bunch of nobodies, or old fighters.

Mayweather will be THE FIRST prime, elite fighter that Ricky has faced. Yes, I am saying that Kostya Tszyu was faded. Zoo was a couple months shy of his 36th birthday - pretty olf for a LW. And he had been VERY inactive. And no knowledgeable person will dispute that Castillo was shot, after seeing how he looked as early as round 1.

If I am wrong, and Hatton HAS beaten an elite, prime fighter, then please tell me who that was and I will eat my words.
            Based on what YOU said,

an ALMOST 36 year old, VERY inactive Kostya Tszyu knocked out Sharmba Mitchell in 3 rounds. knocking him down 4 times.

Floyd Mayweather took DOUBLE the time, 6 rounds to beat a SHOT Mitchell.

Tony Pep went 10 rounds with Mayweather. ONLY 4 fights later(which he won) Hatton was the 2nd person to KNOCK HIM OUT.

Tony Pep had been knocked out last, in 1988 by Tony Lopez who was 28-1 at the time. and went on to become,

              I love your number system.

              1) Has Mayweather moved up in weight? Shouldn't that mean that his punches will have less effect and steam on them??

              2) Chavez took a beating for 2 rounds. Rounds 8 and 9. The rest of the fight he was GAME. You would of known that if you actually saw the fight. Dont always go by what you read.

                1) Like Miguel Cotto has "less steam" on his punches? Doesn't work that way. Guys mature into their bodies and grow. It is highly unusual to find a professional male athlete who weighs the same at 29 as he did at 19 (Keep drying it out, Rick)

                2) Saw the fight. Sent you a YT link, even. AS I SAID, Mayweather typically dominates the latter half of fights. I'm a bit surprised that you are hanging your hat on a fight where Chavez threw in the towel. But I guess it will be a victory for RH to see round 10.

Yes of course there are exceptions to every rule. Cotto was literally killing himself to make 140. He wasn't as drained and didn't look like a damn skeletor at 147 which is why he does not really have chin issues anymore.

But keep spinning all of the facts. I am truly done with you.

From what I've seen, he's in too good of shape. However, he's gotten older (like everyone has) and Hatton and Cotto could give him problems in this department. So, only time we'll tell. I'll get back to you on December 9th.
