James Toney fought alot of nobodies but he even fought the good guy in his competition you dont expect a fight to fight world champion and elite fighter on every fight someone must give the poor man chance for others to shine

Well in my opinion he's as good as anyone I've ever seen, so he's def one of the greatest fighters I've ever seen.

the scores for this fight were ridiculously wide if i remember correctly. Toney should have stayed at cruiserweight, the jump to heavyweight ruined him.

Lederman card was a joke, I had Toney winning 8 or 9 rounds. Anyway Toney was great at the heavyweight if he would've stayed around 217 like the Holyfield fight, I think the Toney from the Holyfield fight would've been tough to beat.

Toney just got old in the rematch against peter, I think 80 career fights being close to 40 did it to Toney.

The Jirov fight was pretty close some round the combo where hitting Toney and some round Toney was counter it pretty well but with the knockdown it was a clear win for Toney.
