Not true, I for one am still a fan of his and would like to see him back in action. It's not a disgrace to have one win and one loss in two fights with Wladimir Klitschko.

Obviously the average boxing fan knows nothing about either PETA or dogfighting. I've had APBT's (sometimes called "pit bulldogs") for over 30 years, although I'm not fighting them. But, basically, the rules of the dog pit, just like the rules of any fighting sport, protect the WILLING participants, as well as the unwilling participants. The appropriation of this breed by gangsters, bikers, and druglords as a type of "living bling" can only bring hardship down on the dogs and their true friends. As soon as the **** hits the fan, a lot of these guys will roll over on their grandmother to save their ass and stay out of prison. Anyway, PETA has euthanized dogs in their own headquarters. The pot is calling the kettle black. You guys use your own thought processes. Why anyone would fight dogs, or at least own fighting dogs, is akin to asking why be a ******, or Christian, or whatever. There must be some reason, since there are 1 billion of each, not to mention an estimated 2 million APBT's in this country. BTW most people, even fighters, aren't worthy to hold the leash of a truly game dog. You all might want to check out some of Richard Stratton's books on the breed, rather than just popping off, although I know that is asking a lot of some of the people on this board. Just like boxing or any "bloodsport", the fighters depend in a large part on their corner to know when to give it up or, in the case of dogs, picked up. Don't buy the media crap. Think for yourselves. Jack Johnson, Jack Dempsey, John Corcoran, and many other great fighters have owned APBT's and associated with, if not actually fought, dogs. The pit bulldog was the Marine mascot until they became "politically correct" with the English bulldog. Nothing is as simple as it seems.....

Dude, you are double talking the issue and make no sense whatsoever.. I've seen plenty of dog fights where I live and trust me, not one Dog signed a contract and agreed to fight.. You are playing off of an animal's instinct to fight or flight, and many of them don't want to fight and do it because they feel that they must, or feel a threat (that shouldn't even be there)..

The point is this.. How'd you like for someone who is obviously like 10 times more aware and intelligent than you are, to lead you into a life or death situation that you have to fight your way out of? Then if you happen to lose but escape with your life, you end up getting killed anyways. And even if you don't get killed, you'll most likely be forced into this situation again where you'll eventually end up killing or permanently damaging someone.. There is no win win, it's definitely lose lose..

What you're saying is on par with someone trying to justify slavery by saying something like: Well, we treated them well

im sad 2 say that i own a vick jersey, dont think i will wear it again after this bull ****, i dont see why ****in cowards gotta fight dogs for fun or money, why torture a dog for ur pleasure, i dont think that guy should ever play football again no matter what talent he has, i wouldnt mind seeing him get mauled by a pit.
