This is not the fight I wanted.

I would have preferred for Floyd to fight a real opponent: Mosley, Cotto, Williams, etc. And with his performance Saturday night, Vernon Forrest threw his hat in the ring as a legitimate challenge. His length, size and power are substantial.

Ricky Hatton is just not in Floyd's class. Do you think Team Hatton throws in the towel before or after the ninth round?

It's not a fight that interests me either, but Hatton needed to be shut up so it's necessary. Just pray Mosley beats Cotto so Mayweather will fight Sugar next. If Cotto wins, you better believe it's DLH-Cotto come Cinco de Mayo.

mayweather could very easily stop hatton, but i think hes gonna play it safe and potshot all night, much more easy work.....

And Hatton will go the whole 12 with Mayweather. He'll scoop up some rounds, too. The only top-flight opponent that Mayweather has completely outclassed was a prime Corralles. All other guys have been able to give him trouble- Castillo, Judah, Delahoya.
