Hatton: "I Have The Style To Beat Mayweather"

What is it with the people who can't grasp the fact that Hatton had 5 weeks to get into shape for a Welterweight fight! That is not even half enough time to put the weight on correctly via muscles. Let alone against a southpaw opponent who had fought at 154 recently.
His next fight at 147 will be completely different, Mayweather isn't a natural 147 fighter, both Mayweather and Hatton will come in at about the same weight on fight night! Also, the comparisons with Gatti and Hatton are ridiculous. Gatti was an outside brawler, he was in his mid thirties, shot to pieces and fought the wrong fight entirely. The muppet decided to try and outbox Mayweather. He didn't close him down or nothing. HATTON WILL CLOSE MAYWEATHER DOWN. He will not try and outbox the boxer. He will not stand off Mayweather and let him pummel him.
In addition, Hatton is in his PRIME at 28 years old. He is undefeated - a multi time word champion, a two weight world champion. Nobody has found a way to beat him yet.
This is the most dangerous fight for Mayweather at the moment - if people think that this fight is the money fight then you are fools. Everybody knows that Mosley and Cotto have had more exposure on American television and they are the money fights. Mayweather finally seems to be doing something for his legacy.Comment

I have a feeling both fighters will get penalized during the fight. Hatton with his holding and Floyd with his lowblows and elbows.
Hatton is going to NEED to be dirty in this fight. When he fought Kosta I felt that lowblow took alot out of him. It wasn't a major tide turner, but it did take a certain wind out of Tszyu. He needs to do the same with Floyd. Except rip him to the body.Comment

Some say Hatton has the style to beat mayweather, he might do, but i also think he has the style to get hurt very bad by mayweather also.Comment

He does have the right style, but executing it is another story. You can't justifiably compare this to Duran-Leonard I because in that case Duran was the more accomplished fighter who also had comparable skill and athleticism. In Hatton's case there's probably too big a talent differential to overcomeComment
