I think Forrest would dominate Cory Spinks. He really surprised me with his speed ,timing and his legs looked good.

I wouldn't say that, unless you consider Forest to be a better, stronger and faster version of Jermain Taylor, I can't see how you'd be so sure of that.

best post. i'll tell you why. forrest is 36 and dispite his awsome performance, he will no doubt lose to a good young fighter. that's why he's the champ. and that's why baldomir was the challenger, so he could look p4p to 14 year olds and generaly dumb people, and create another FAKE ASS champion, who we still don't know.

They were orignally supposed to fight in a WBC elimination bout but since floyd vacated anyway they made it a title fight.
Wouldn't make sense to let them fight for a mandatory position to a belt that has no champion. This saved everybody alot of time

he can be a top p4p guy but like kball15 says, he just have to prove it. but the way he was throwing his punches last night and keeping his distance he would be giving anyone he fought a tough fight.

forrest throws really good punches, fast, sharp, powerful, and direct. i was impressed although baldomir was there to get hit and get hit clean, anyone that forrest would be fighting would have a tough time with vernon. i thought he looked good last night.

Solid fighter, but not quite P4P yet. Let him defend that title at least twice against say Ouma and Simms.
