Not dis*****g that Hatton hasn't acheived as much... but he was trying to get those matches for YEARS and kept getting knocked back. Any fighter who is considered to be a potential superstar is protected to a certain degree, including Floyd. Warren is a problem, he's not in the business of making champions, he's in the business of making money. He does this by filling arenas in fights he is promoting alone. Because Warren has most of the top talent in Britain tied up it does mean that British fighters are unfortunately kept from fighting abroad at championship level as much as would be desirable. Having said that more British fighters fight abroad than American fighters.

I don't know if a Tszyu past his prime is better than a De La Hoya past his prime. The early Corrales & Genaro Hernandez wins were excellent accomplishments too.

You're full of ****, honest you are. No-one wanted Ricky Hatton until he fought and beat Tszyu. He's been saying he's the real deal for years, but it takes beating a big name for people to sit up and take notice. Then they make excuses when he beats the big names. Mayweather threatening retirement? **** off, he's just negotiating a bigger payday.

I cant wait for this fight between Ricky and PBF. I GUARANTEE it wont be as easy as you think it will be for Floyd Mayweather, and I would happily put money on Ricky Hatton beating him. Just wait until he connects with a shot to the ribs, like the shot that dropped Castillo. Even if Castillo was shot, he admitted he'd NEVER been hit like that. And if you watch the fight, Ricky was going for that shot for the whole fight, it was no lucky shot. Kinda ruins the whole "Ricky cant box" argument.
