Hatton hasnt fought bums. Its just that when Haton beats them, they are then refered to as bums. When he eventually gets someone like PBF in the ring, it is made extremely difficult to get the fight and Hatton is almost like a beggar in the street begging for a fight. So it would be easier if Hatton did fight a bum a month and a lot less hassle.

Joe only beat Lacy but Lacy was supposed to be special before Joe exposed him for the boxer he was. Otherwise to this day people might be saying how great Lacy is.

Well hopefully Haye will beat Mormeck and then fight Enzo who will have the IBF Title by then after he beats Cunningham ?

Enzo signed to fight Haye last January "But it fell through ?"

it fell through because warren wanted options on haye win or lose. i think that if haye does win he will just move straight up to heavyweight.

It's good to see a British fighter actually acknowledging the truth about his fellow countrymen. British boxing is a complete joke...

What excuses do you have lined up for when Hatton crucifies PBF and Calzone gives Kessler a good hiding?

Call them overated? Say they were never any good? Too old??... A good one could be... "PBF was retired - he wasn't in top shape." That one could be good. You could always say they cheated - or just deny the truth and say the judges were wrong.

I hate to say it but hes right, prospects like khan should have fought much tougher competition early in thier careers so they could develop properly instead of having to get confortable fighting bums.

Amir Khan, who is supposed to become a great fighter, should be following the path of Povetkin who is stepping up to good fighters already and he's only had 13 fights. He's supposed to fight Byrd soon and I don't hear them trying to duck that fight. Amir Khan is instead following the path of least resistance like Hatton and Calzaghe. We'll see him step up to a world class fighter in 2012...
