Mismatches in Asia continue without let-up and the governing bodies for boxing in the different countries as well as the region are either helpless or in connivance with promoters, managers and matchmakers to allow such fights to take place.

This is a recipe for diaster.

Once they find a guy that can take a good punch, but be totally brutalized for 6-12 rounds, then add to that an incompetant ref, and someone is going to die.

This is where I realize how hard it would be for boxing to have a commissioner like so many of us want. He'd have to oversee a sport that is truly a global affair. In the NFL or NBA you just have to deal with American problems - American athletes, and American culture. If we had a boxing commissioner he'd have to try and contend with Asia, Europe, the Latin American countries, Australia - and be culturally sensitive to all of them. It'd be a grueling, tiresome and oft thankless job.

Mexico is the worlds 13th best economy. Thats well higher then most European countries, and Mexicans get placed in Mismatches on just about every episode of ESPN fights and are frequently mismatched up in the early careers of potential prospects in order to get the main fighter tuned up in his early career.

So I doubt your location on the globe would prevent your people from gettin slaughtered in the ring lol. If they're hungry, and willing, they will get in the ring reguardless.

If your people are insecure about their people gettin smashed, lol then like I said. They need to be paid, to NOT fight.
