Hatton wont have a plan B. He''l just keep doing what he does and if it dont work he'll just try even more untill it does. Might slip in a few dirt moves if he feels its getting away from him thou .
Would be intresting to see Floyd take some of Hattons body shots at a lower weight. I think Hatton will throw alot more effective and more volume of body punchers than Oscar did in there fight.

Now he may be able to get in. Becuase Mayweather is very selective in using his jab. So what else should Hatton do to effectively fight Mayweather?

I say he can't go wrong with throwing the jab. And has anybody ever made Mayweather come to them. I would try but Floyd is naturally the on the defense. What yall think? I say Mayweather wins the fight regardless I just want to talk strategy.
Of Mayweather's last 4 fights alone, I can think of two.

      Zab Judah
      Sharmba Mitchell

Hardly. Mayweather's right glove is always in that guard position. It's almost like it's glued to the side of his face. The only way Mayweather would be suspetable to a left-hook is if he's fighting someone who can beat him to the punch, and counter his straight-right hand. Which Zab Judah could do, and had some mild success with.

Unfortunately for Hatton, he does not possess that type of handspeed, and will not be beating Mayweather to the punch.

The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced this fight will look oddly familiar to the Chavez fight, except with a version of Mayweather that is a lot more polished and experienced.

No plan B and Hatton has no chance. Mayweather even out trains him so it would take more than 12 rounds to completely exhaust him no matter what you do. He could literally run a marathon and win with all the work he puts in. Ricky fights 1 way. If you get him to respect your punch he lays off the bull rush for awhile. You're not beating Floyd if you can't tactically adapt. He's going to get discouraged when the fruits of his charging doesn't slow Mayweather down one iota.

Hatton doesn't really box, he just uses his feet a lot and fights in flurries. Very similar to Shane Mosley. He doesn't jab, so he just comes in straight. He'll get picked apart by Mayweather, he comes in from too far sometimes.

Yeah he always seems to jump into his punches.

And with a stronger and more elusive version of Chavez... This is not going to be a one-sided fight by any stretch of the imagination.

Does anyone think Mayweather will have a similar offensive performace like he did with Gatti? For some reason I think he may. I'm getring this feeling. Because Collazo was really tagging Hatton at will. And he really looked to be going down during the 11th or 12th can't remember.

If Mayweather goes on the offensive he loses. Mayweather knows this, and will spend most of the fight tagging and moving. Collazo let Hatton rush in and caught him a few times, but Hatton looked very poor in that fight against a much bigger opponent. Mayweather isn't bigger and certainly won't be able to outmuscle one of the strongest fighters P4P. Give credit to Floyd, he's too clever to give up his advantages in this fight.
