Who did the MOST with there Talent?

We had the thread of who was the biggest waste of talent. Now I'm interested in who did the most with the talent they were given?

My first nomination isn't a popular fighter but he definitely beat lots of guys who were much more talented than him and beat top guys in his division. Who am I speaking of.....John Ruiz.

I'll go with Arturo Gatti.. Wasn't rhe fastest, strongest or biggest guy. But for the talent he had, he milked it for all it's worth. That's good.

I agree with Gatti and was gonna nominate him first but I knew someone else would name him.

The second guy I would mention is Bernard Hopkins. Bernard had elite level talent but his dedication to the gym allowed him to juice it and hang on to it at the highest level for 20years.

Jones if athleticism can possibly fall under talent too.

Dennis Andries, and Steve Collins would be candidates.

I look at a guy like Alfonso Gomez and how much he's improved..

He has plenty of heart - and now some physical spark.

The guy is about as far from "natural athlete" as you get.

He was pushed that naturally gimpy body of his places I did not think even possible.. Right now it's him by far.

Baldomir is slow of hand and feet, but uses his style well + Uber Chin.

Gatti didn't have everything but used it well. Ultimately he was bound to get dominated by someone too tough (Gomez, Baldomir) or someone too skilled (de la Hoya, Mayweather).

                    Roy Jones becuase Nuff Said.
