Agree he completely abandoned the body. He aimed high the entire night. You could tell he really wanted a KO. He just needs to pick his hands up. And realize that his jab can be his most effective punch.

i missed the fight, but how do yall think he matches up with:
1. Alfonso Gomez
2.Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
3. Zab Judah (i know zab is on a whole other level than the other two, but I'd like this fight for zab, to show hes still got it.)

Considering Zab TKO'd Rivera in the third (2 years ago) I'd have to pick Zab at this point in their respective careers. But when Berto reaches his prime it is a different story.

2) Berto over Chavez Jr. by KO.
3) Judah could sneak one in.. Berto would not likely recover. Zab by KO.
There's also the chance that these fights go the other way.
Berto still has good potential..
