i gave that round to rivera... he was actually the agressor, using his jab and putting pressure on. bertos defense did not look very sharp.

That was a decent shot in the right spot that dropped Berto..

Still, I'm sure there will be questions about his chin.

        I think that's fair.

This is not his best effort, however he still does look like a GREAT prospect. I think he neds to throw a left hook to the body uppercut combo on this guy, he's wide open for that...

How do you guys think he would do against Chavez jr?

I am by no means sayin berto is a bum. I am saying that his power has served him well to date, but against a c+ level guy his power didnt serve him and he hasnt shown the skill and movement to make him complete.

                  thanks for the updates.

getting caught was probably the best thing that coulda happened to him.

                    • Its amazing how when a young undefeated fighter gets knocked down or has a tough fight, it seems like someone cant wait to come out and say he's a "fraud"! he' s a young guy fighting a veteran and still is dominating. comments and thoughts like that is what keep the mega fights from happening. thats why fighters try to protect their undefeated records so badly. if they lose or be in a tough fight then they are perceived to be "overrated", which could hurt their earning potential. let the man fight and learn from each and and every one of them b4 you start saying he's been exposed
