If I was Hatton I would have fought De La Hoya instead of Mayweather cause Hatton would lose to both but at least with De La Hoya he'd get the biggest payday of his career.

I think Hatton has enough money now, hes not the type to spend out of control, he will most prob live in a pub when he retires.
Why the **** would the fight a "non-title" attraction. Sounds like the final bit of negotiation has to do with whether Hatton has the balls to come back to 147...
You just need to sit down and admit that you've been **** wrong mate. You said that all you ever wanted from Hatton and Calzaghe was for them to step up to the plate and fight those fighters who were considered to be live. Hatton is now fighting Mayweather, at PBF's weight...in PBF's backyard. The result of the fight is insignificant now, because he's done what you've asked of him. Calzaghe is fighting supposedly the most dangerous and in-prime Super Middleweight in the world, so give him credit too and admit that all of your hating over them in here has been proven wrong. Otherwise, come December 9th, you could be getting hounded out of here as your entire BoxingScene world crumbles around you if both Hatton and Calzaghe have won.

C'mon now, Limey. Collazo got robbed. Do you remember Hatton stumbling around in the 12th round like a drunken idiot from Collazo's left hand? If that fight would've went 15 rounds, Hatton would have been KNOCKED OUT. I know, I know, you'll argue about that flash knockdown against Collazo. But the fact is, Hatton NEVER HURT Collazo in that fight, while Collazo had Hatton on *****-street a couple of times.
Stop trying to peddle this Ricky the "hugman" Fatton garbage. The only thing I'm excited about with this fight is that Mayweather will put an ass whipping on this bum and hopefully him and his boring, ugly style will never be on HBO again.
Some of you people have no idea whatsoever. Winning a 12th round doesnt mean that you've won a contest. Hatton never went down, Hatton was never knocked out, judged deemed that he'd won more rounds than Collazo despite fighting at Collazo's weight division, despite fighting in Collazo's 'back yard'. Get over it.

I don't know why all the fuss over whether the fight is at 147 or not. Can't Hatton still come in at 140 if he so chooses? By fight night the weigh-in wont matter anyway. I think th4e 140 rubbish is just the fans looking for a ready excuse for the very likely Hatton loss Dec. 8th.
Hatton has already said that he'll probably come in around the same weight as he came in for the Castillo fight. So it'll be around 147 on fight-day.
Mayweather outclasses yet another opponent, only to be discredited once again.
Mark my words.
Well that's Mayweather's fans' own fault for discrediting Hatton as an opponent. You cant go around for months claiming that he's not a top 10 WW fighter and then complaining that Mayweather doesnt get credit for being the BEST FIGHTER IN THE WORLD EVER if he beats him.
I for one will give him a lot of credit because I think that Hatton is deservedly a strong top P4P boxer.
more tougher fight than mosley??? o boy dont think so!!!
I do. It's already been established that nobody can beat Mayweather at his own game. Mosley would get outboxed and wouldn't know what to do about it. Cotto is too slow.
Hatton has the energy to keep Mayweather working for full 12 rounds and throw/land a ****load of punches.
May i just add, that those who say 'ooh, Hatton will get embarassed and dominated' are utter c*nts. If Hatton loses it doesn't mean he is 'overrated' or 'hype'. There would be no shame in losing to the pound for pound best in the sport.
The mere fact that he is in a position to challenge him speaks volumes for his achievements already.
Also, why do people dismiss the fact that he is a two weight, multi time world champion and undefeated. NOBODY has been able to find a way to beat him. What makes you think Floyd will do it so easily?
