You're absolutely right, and those people who underrate Ricky because of his difficult win against the southpaw Collazo are in for a big surprise on Dec 8!

I see no interest in this fight and I can't understand why so many people are stoked about a fight like this. This is just another hand-picked opponent for Mayweather to maximize his bank account. He knows Hatton has no chance to win and that's why he's taking this fight. If Collazo almost put Hatton away at 147, Mayweather will UNDOUBTEDLY UD Hatton or possibly stop him late. There is no excitement in this one besides watching Mayweather lay it on Hatton, thick.

Cotto-Mosley, now that is a real fight right there where I don't already know the outcome.

Calzaghe-Kessler, now that is another fight right there that gets me excited.

Floyd Mayweather, go home, just stay retired unless you want to take on a really dangerous opponent and not one that you know you can beat as usual.

C'mon now, Limey. Collazo got robbed. Do you remember Hatton stumbling around in the 12th round like a drunken idiot from Collazo's left hand? If that fight would've went 15 rounds, Hatton would have been KNOCKED OUT. I know, I know, you'll argue about that flash knockdown against Collazo. But the fact is, Hatton NEVER HURT Collazo in that fight, while Collazo had Hatton on *****-street a couple of times.

Stop trying to peddle this Ricky the "hugman" Fatton garbage. The only thing I'm excited about with this fight is that Mayweather will put an ass whipping on this bum and hopefully him and his boring, ugly style will never be on HBO again.

I think Hatton's performances of late have been mediocre. His defeat of Castillo was OK but without the KO it was a scrum of a fight against a much depleted great. I think Mayweather will take a few body shots, dance away and jab and flurry from a distance.
This is a good start for Floyd. Now that Cotto and Williams are the top dogs with the most impressive performances of late then these are the two that Floyd must face for his resume.
While I think that the argument of Mosley turning down a fight with Floyd so he has missed his chance is a pathetic one, I am far less interested in that fight than the two dominant welters.
I'm delighted that this Hatton fight is on.
I will be mightily impressed by Floyd if he takes on Cotto and Williams (assuming they continue to impress) afterwards. As it happens with the interest those two are gaining and the welter division as a whole I think Floyd WILL take on the best. He'll face scorn galore if he doesn't.
If Cotto and Williams fizzle out then I'll be content with retirement for Floyd.

I'd also like to say if this fight happens, it proves mayweather doesnt duck fighters and that he takes on real fighters,

He called Hatton out Publicly, now it looks like Hatton feels he is ready,

              Gonna be a great fight,

Someone is gonna get badly hurt imo.

I hope not. I can't wait for this fight, OK Hatton will be a huge underdog but this will be an entertaining scrap.

I don't know why all the fuss over whether the fight is at 147 or not. Can't Hatton still come in at 140 if he so chooses? By fight night the weigh-in wont matter anyway. I think th4e 140 rubbish is just the fans looking for a ready excuse for the very likely Hatton loss Dec. 8th.
