IBF Champ Cintron Targets Margarito Rematch

It appears that Cintron wants to cry again and Margarito needs a belt to get back in the thick of things. In the long run losing that WBO might be the best thing that has happened to Margarito. Now he can get ranked by the other organizations and force the big fights he has been seeking his whole career after he gives another beating to Cintron. He's probably pissed off as hell at himself for blowing the 12th round against Williams so it's bad news for his next opponent.

why are you people still comparing the old Cintron i dont understand they guy lost to Margarito when that was couple of year ago. you know that he improved well and you could see the rate of his oppenet going down.

Yes Margarito has a super chin but that doesnt meant he doesnt get hurt. Margarito fight with Cintron was Margarito hands speed advantage now Cintro is much better fighter and would cause huge problems

This is probably the best fight out there in the WW division for him, poor Paul Williams will have to sit a round or find keep busy opponents.

Williams dont have to sit around. The WW division is the deepest in boxing and people who say that anyone has to sit around are lying to themselves. Props to Cintron for wanting the rematch but Margarito has his number he allready broke his hearth once, this is the perfect fight for Margarito he can get right in the mix after he takes Cintron's belt.

Cintron will take it this time, if he doesn't bank on his power so damn much. When he fought Margarito, he was still basically learning on the job; had no extensive amateur career. Now he's learned how to give angles, and pick his shots much, much better. He was 1-D against Margario the first time- Just stood there, threw punches and hoped for the best. But Manny really has turned him around.

This would be interesting to see, too. It kinda resembles the Klitschko-Brewster fights. But a little less dramatic.

props to cintron, the man has his world title and instead of ducking guys and taking easy fight after easy fight like a lot of "so-called" champs today, he's going after the guy that not only ko'd him but beat him up bad.

margarito is still a threat to anyone inside the ring, his fight with williams was close and had margarito been more active he might have pulled out the W.

style wise it's a tough fight for cintron and having to deal with the mental factors, it's a really tough fight for him.

cintron is starting to impress me with his drive and his ballsy choices. i hope this fight goes down, it will be an exciting fight................especially now that cintron has more experience under his belt.........
