IBF Champ Cintron Targets Margarito Rematch

IBF welterweight champion Kermit Cintron wants to badly redeem himself for the 2005 knockout loss to Antonio Margarito. In a recent interview with Jose Aguirre of BoxingScene.com, Cintron said that he wants a rematch with Margarito more than any other bout, and said the only reason he initially called out Shane Mosley was because he thought Margarito would beat Paul Williams. This is probably the best fight out there in the WW division for him, poor Paul Williams will have to sit a round or find keep busy opponents.

It appears that Cintron wants to cry again and Margarito needs a belt to get back in the thick of things. In the long run losing that WBO might be the best thing that has happened to Margarito. Now he can get ranked by the other organizations and force the big fights he has been seeking his whole career after he gives another beating to Cintron. He's probably pissed off as hell at himself for blowing the 12th round against Williams so it's bad news for his next opponent.
