Great, just what the heavyweight division needs, Wlad fighting either Brock or Byrd, two guys he already DESTROYED! Those of you saying this is good for the division need to wake up. Nobody wants to see either of those fights.

Again, he is 27 now, buy the time he gets a shot, he'll be pushing 29, and with wins over Donals, Byrd, Brock/Chambers, I think it's a perfect time to get a shot at the title.

But I think we are getting carried away here.. these fights first need to happen and he needs to win.
Wlad had 12 title fights up to date and will probably have at least one more by the time this whole thing plays out. I seriously doubt that Povetkin, having a total of 15 fights will be ready mentally and physically.

I could be wrong though, I guess I need to see how he'll do against other ring veterans like Byrd or Brock and hold my judgment until then. His fight with Donald didn't prove much, Donald is too old to show Povetkin's weaknesses.

Although this is great, it would be better if it was Rahman or Dimitrenko instead of Brock, since Wlad just defeated him last November. Byrd deserves another shot as the former champ, but he would be better off trying for another title since he will never defeat Wlad.

Povetkin will likely beat Byrd, and Brock will probably defeat Chambers. Brock may prove to be a difficult opponent for Povetkin, but Sasha will likely prevail and become Wlad's mandatory.

it would be even better if Klitschko has fought and beaten the winner of Ibragimov-Chugaev by then. Who knows, it could happen.

Povetkin'll make it past Byrd, but that's as far as he'll go.

Brock and Byrd have already lost (mentally and in the ring) and don't want any part of Wlad.

I've seen Chambers fight, and I dont see him getting past Brock. I think we'll see a Brock - Povetkin fight with Povetkin KO'ing Brock, then we'll see a Povetkin - Klitschko fight, with Povetkin getting stopped.
