Povetkin wont make it past Byrd.

Believe me, if this Kid (who is BTW 27) beats Byrd and the winner of Brock/Chamvers, he will be ready.

Again, he is 27 now, buy the time he gets a shot, he'll be pushing 29, and with wins over Donals, Byrd, Brock/Chambers, I think it's a perfect time to get a shot at the title.

But I think we are getting carried away here.. these fights first need to happen and he needs to win.

Wlad had 12 title fights up to date and will probably have at least one more by the time this whole thing plays out. I seriously doubt that Povetkin, having a total of 15 fights will be ready mentally and physically.

I could be wrong though, I guess I need to see how he'll do against other ring veterans like Byrd or Brock and hold my judgment until then. His fight with Donald didn't prove much, Donald is too old to show Povetkin's weaknesses.

Although this is great, it would be better if it was Rahman or Dimitrenko instead of Brock, since Wlad just defeated him last November. Byrd deserves another shot as the former champ, but he would be better off trying for another title since he will never defeat Wlad.

Povetkin will likely beat Byrd, and Brock will probably defeat Chambers. Brock may prove to be a difficult opponent for Povetkin, but Sasha will likely prevail and become Wlad's mandatory.
