Am I the only one sick of these 4 way fights between EM, MAB, Pac, & JMM? Im sick of these guys fighting eachother over & over again and then getting so much credit for it. Half these guys are old and there fights are overrated. Everyone loves JMM and I think he's the most overrated fighter in the game. Trust me, Im not a hater. Before these guys really started fighting eachother I thought JMM was the best but to me Ive been really dissapointed in the same fights he gets a ton of credit in.
In the Pac-JMM fight I came away dissapointed in both guys. Pac looked so one demisonal in just throwing that straight left all fight. He also dropped a guy 3 times in the 1st round and not only did he not finish him, he nearly lost the fight. JMM is supposed to be this beautiful technician but he let Pac hit him with that one punch the whole fight. He also got dropped 3 times in the 1st round. Now he fought back very well but he still let Pac hit him with that straight left the whole fight. No way a so called supreme techniqal guy is supposed to let that happened.
Then I remember that one card where both JMM & his brother fought on it. JMM fought another lefty just like Pac but he didnt have that big of a punch. After that fight I rememeber reading a ton of articles about how good JMM was. I was like, were they watching the same fight as me? Again, this guy hit JMM a hundred times with that straight left, busted his nose up, and almost looked like he was going to drop him a few times. If that was Pac then he wouldve been dead.
Then JMM & MAB fight and everyone was talking about how great the fight was but I didnt see it. Sure it was a close fight but neither guy fought at the level you would expect them to. They didnt look like the super elite fighters. They didnt look like top P4P guys.
Then you have EM fight a guy like Chaves who fights with one arm for like the last 9 rounds and not only almost beats him but EM never even knew it. How could a so called super smart legend not realize that a guy has only one arm the whole fight? This wasnt one of those fake injuries or half way injuries either. He really only punched with one arm the rest of the fight and EM never even knew and he got hit a ton with it. I still think Chaves wouldve won if it wasnt for that injury. How come he fights these other guys again but not Chaves?
Then EM beats Pac fairly easily. After that EM gets dominated by Raheem. The same Raheem who lost to Freitas and looked like crap. EM didnt come close to winning one round against a guy like Raheem but then Pac KO's him in the rematch and everyone goes crazy? How can you go crazy when EM just lost every round to an average fighter? He was clearly done. Then the public has the nerve to support a 3rd fight? Pac comes in looking like a Jr. WW and stops EM again and he gets even more credit? I dont get it.
Now Pac & MAB are having a rematch and everyone cant wait? I cant stand watching these fights anymore. Why dont they switch up and fight someone like Diaz, Campbell, Casamayor, Guzman, Soto, Valero, or something like that? These guys arent even putting up big PPV numbers. Whats so special about these fights? There good guys but not as great as people make them out to be. As long as they fight eachother then they will stay looking like this and getting too much credit for it. Then when they fight someone different they pick other average guys like Juarez who never goes all out, Barrios who's exciting but is just good enough to lose to the top guys, and shot Larios. These guys fight eachother and people are fooled into thinking they are taking super tough fights. There not. Fight those other guys and they'll get my respect. Then you can really judge how great they are. Dont get me wrong, EM & MAB were really good but there clearly way past there primes, e****ally EM. JMM spent way too much passing up fights with the top guys and seems to have either peaked early or didnt get better due to him fighting the lesser guys too much. Pac is good but I think he is benefiting over beating these big names who are overrated right now. Id much rather see what he can do with those other names on that list who are young or very hungery.
