Legendary fighters go in the HOF Gatti was definitely a legendary fighter.
Where are all the "Gatti for the Hall of Fame" people now?

I agree, this is my point also. We all know that Gatti isn't a world class boxer but he did genarate alot of excitement and joy for boxing fans throughout his career. Shouldn't that count for something?..Comment

When a guy does something crazy or interesting or amazing in baseball, they give him a spot for that achievement, but not necessarily induct him into the Hall.
For example, Don Larsen was an average pitcher (like Gatti is an average fighter). But Larsen pitched a perfect game in the World Series. That deserves recognition.
So, you can have a list of FOTY's in the IBHOF that has Gatti's name on it three (?) times.
But no induction for Arturo.
It depends on how you look at the hall of fame. I agree with you. But some say those who show are all time greats in certain areas deserve recognition.
I would have gatti in maybe a top 20, top 15 list of all time biggest hearts. I dont think that alone gets you into the hall of fame, but it depends on how you look at it.Comment

Question for some is, "is that enough?"Comment

he should be recognized for his contributions to boxing and to the fans.
besides, its not like the IBHOF is really impressive anyway.Comment

I think if Bobby Chacon is in, Gatti is in, they very similar fighter just from different coasts of the US. Chacon is also a 2 time titlist like GattiComment
