I agree, this is my point also. We all know that Gatti isn't a world class boxer but he did genarate alot of excitement and joy for boxing fans throughout his career. Shouldn't that count for something?..

So, you can have a list of FOTY's in the IBHOF that has Gatti's name on it three (?) times.

            But no induction for Arturo.
Its even 4 times i think.

It depends on how you look at the hall of fame. I agree with you. But some say those who show are all time greats in certain areas deserve recognition.

I would have gatti in maybe a top 20, top 15 list of all time biggest hearts. I dont think that alone gets you into the hall of fame, but it depends on how you look at it.

Five or six exciting fights can NOT be Hall-worthy.

Yes, an incredible 4 FOTY awards, all of which are listed in the Hall of fame and viewed daily by boxing fans around the world.

Question for some is, "is that enough?"

he should be recognized for his contributions to boxing and to the fans.

besides, its not like the IBHOF is really impressive anyway.

                    Was he?

He got blown out by Angel manfredy and beaten 2x by Ivan Robinson.

An objective look at the Gatti resume reveals alot of scrubbosity.

I think if Bobby Chacon is in, Gatti is in, they very similar fighter just from different coasts of the US. Chacon is also a 2 time titlist like Gatti
