I'm not going to debate any more of these "Wlad (and his fanbase) sucks" point by point. It's ****** to discuss points with people who will most likely refuse to concede an argument even if proven to be wrong. I think it's better to just sit back and see what happens in the future, and see who's right and who isn't. I think Wlad might manage to go undefeated for the next several years, and people who start (and perpetuate) threads like this think he's a single shot away from sinking into obscurity. I'm going to wait and see who's right, rather than debate it ad nauseum.

Wladimir is in the weakest HW division EVER. EVER.
Lennox Lewis was far better than Klitschkois today. I give Klit credit for many things. He is making the most of his skills. He has come back from defeats, albeit against washed up fighters. (How long did it take him to rematch Brewster/Byrd?? Man Quitschko's got some real balls). He always represents himself and the game with tremendous dignity. That is what I like about him. However, he has a weak chin and not much determination that keeps him from bring a great fighter.
Lewis was stopped twice. Both fights had similiar circumstances. Both times Lennox was overconfident, under trained and got caught with major league haymakers. The shots that took him out would have taken out 98% of the big men in history. This does not make him an iron chin but he was above average. He proved this by taking big shots from Ray Mercer, Evander Holyfield, Shannon Briggs and Frank Bruno. In all those bouts he was hit very hard by SERIOUS punchers and came back to win.
Wladimir actually has a weak chin and only fair recooperative powers. Putting the chins aside, Lennox was faster, had a better jab, had a better uppercut and was faster and far more fluid. Lennox moved better.
Remember kids, This is one fighter who is literally one punch away from losing any fight. He has a glass jaw.
why is there no talk of a Sam Peter rematch ?
Don't even mention Sam Peter because he already lost and would get KTFO'd in a rematch..Last edited by aljon; 07-26-2007, 10:30 PM.

If he fought george the way he gassed out vs Brewster ( 1 )..he'd last much less than 10...But if he fought a smart enough fight...who knows...
Ali did just what you do with George..let HIM gassout...and Ali did just that

I thought "Quitschko" was Vitali? When did Wladimir quit in a fight? Wladimir Klitschko has a ridiculous offensive arsenal, which is why he's the number 1 heavyweight right now. What will Peter do in a rematch? He'll probably do the same, and likely floor Klitschko, but he won't be able to take the entire onslaught like last time, and will get KO'd late in spite of scoring an early knockdown.

Peter NEVER FLOORED Wlad. He was credited with two KD"s when he shouldn't have been, even George Foreman said as much. He was pushed down. Not knocked down.
Wlad's chin is as good as any hw's out there. Probably better. He took Peter's best left hook, his money punch, in the third round of their fight, the same one that KTFO'd Jeremy Williams, and shook it off. He did not go down.
People with glass chins go down when Sam Peter nails them. Wlad did not.
