everyone saw mayweather wear the mexican colors against oscar. i think this is the most disrespectful thing you could do. this damn mallate has no respect for the real warriors who's blood and sweat made boxing the great sport that it is today. i cant wait until mayweather gets knocked out!! and also hatton did the same thing against castillo and that was also disrespectful. why is some white boy trying to act mexican?? he doestn even fight like a true mexican. he comes forward but no true mexican fighter would ever hug and hold as much as he does. these fighters need to stop disrespecting the great boxing nation of mexico.Comment

It's already been said that he didnt do it to disrespect the crowd, he said it on the jay leno show but jay leno kept trying to get floyd to say that he did it to disrespect the crowd till finally floyd said just a lil bit but he said it was mainly to intimidate Oscar.Comment

Ruiz is Puerto Rican smart guy.
And no, it was not a show of respect that had Floyd coming out with sombrero and t-shirts. That said, I found it hilarious. He came out trying to stir the pot and he did so. Hats off to you. It was just another element of a truly big event.Comment

if your butt hurt about this stuff in boxing, then stop watching the sport. people will always be mad that Mexicans are the only non white or black entity in the sport that have always consistantly held it down in the ring. it bothers them and it always will. lol so deal with it. dont bring it here and complain, especially when this has nothing to do with boxing. grow some cojones..
but I'm still waitin for that one Mexican joker to walk into the ring wearing bushman's outfit to make fun of any black fighter, lol that **** would be classic.

As for Floyd, it depends on how you view it. I doubt he was disrespecting the Mexican culture, more like trying to get a different demographic on his side. Thought it's kinda hard to accept that because Roger Mayweathers (as mentioned earlier) did the same thing.Comment
