I dont think Wlad was 100% against Brewster in the first fight

I've got to think about my wife and kids. I can't so this stuff anymore." He's done, he just wanted to cash in for his family before he rides off in the sunset. The old Lamon could have knocked Wlad out again (not saying he would have but he could have), he just didn't show up for the fight.
Like I said I've seen him fight at, near, or above that pace in previous fights and the symptoms he displayed in his first fight against Brewster are not ones you see typically with fatigue, or typically at all. I dont think I've ever seen a fighter in that state.

Well, watch his fights against Mercer or McCline, he was throwing one bomb after another without much problem for 6 rounds.

So, I don't know, and Wlad's stamina was fine for that too, and contrary to belief, Brewster was actually worse in the first fight then in second.

Why? I think most people have a good enough idea.

We can speculate all we went, and what happened IS weird and strange.

As one old indian saying goes: if it looks like a dog, sounds like a dog and smells like a dog it musta be a dog.

I'm not speculating. I'm putting 2 and 2 and 2 together and arriving at the logical conclusion which is why I made the thread.

What? Brewster was HORRIBLE beyond horrible in the second fight! He fought like a gutless, coward. Did you even see the first fight? Unless Brewster was laying on the canvas sleeping in the first fight he could not have been worse.

Haters are always going to point at his loss to Sanders but those same haters absolutely refuse to acknowledge that Lennox Lewis avoided fighting Corrie Sanders throughout his career. When you are a orthodox fighter, fighting against a southpaw will always be difficult. Now if that southpaw has the punching power that Sanders has, then the task get's even more difficult. Wlad was a flawed fighter when he fought Sanders. His training habits were not very good and what I mean by that is, he concentrated more on weightlifting and punching a heavy bag rather than cardiovascular, sparring and defensive awareness. These three are all things Manny Steward has taught Wlad.

Brewster actually did improve as a fighter, enhanced his skills, defense quite alot from his first fight with Wlad until his last fight. In bouts prior to fighting Wlad he was a lesser fighter, he had no headmovement, not as good a jab, footwork.
