You believe it to be insulting? Fine, but that's not what you said. You said I was calling you "middle school names" or something like that. So you are wrong. Case closed!

Number one heavyweight in the world during the worst period the heavyweight division has ever known!

It isn't. When Joe Louis was champion during world war the divison was pretty f***king thin as one example.

I am going to go out on a limb and say Wlad and alot of these guys today could hold their own agains Floyd Patterson, Ezzard Charles, Ingmar Johannson, Leon Spinks.

Trevor Berbick, Michael Spinks. Taking nothing away from Mike Tyson, his reign as heavyweight champion was maybe the most dominating and destructive in history be it relatively short lived.

Yeah, because the guys you just mentioned are SECOND RATE champions.

Joe Louis alone makes that period NOT the worst the heavyweight division has ever known, this is, BY FAR!

Joe Louis? Anyway, the point is meant to illustrate that the current top level fighters in the heavyweight divison stack up not so bad against numerous other era's if the #1 of them is any indication. Take into account also these guys have to deal with have 4 titles, only fighting twice a year etc.

I'll take Wlad over Trevor Berbick, Michael Spinks, Leon Spinks, Old Ali any day as heavyweight champion.

Most of the people here have animosity for Wladimir because he is incredibly overated. I will readily admit I have an animus for both Klitschko's. I always thought they were over-hyped and literally shoved down our throats by HBO. And time proved me correct: Wladimir despite his obvious skills is basically a mediocrity because he's just not mentally into the fight game.

Vitali, what can I say except that his greatest victory was a tko loss to Lewis. That's something to really hang your hat on, eh?
