Do You Really Think Hatton Wants to Fight Mayweather?

Im not sure DLH can make 147 for Hatton, would he go down to that weight to fight Hatton, when he can fight tito at 160 or less and make more money on PPV, cos that fight must be one of the most awaited rematches of all time no?
I cant take Hatton vs De La Hoya seriously, if hatton has a chance to make it happen, he should take it though, lots of money.Comment

I agree with your hesitance to believe DLH can still make 147 (he would probably call for a catch weight at 150 or somesuch).
However, to say it would not be taken seriously by any true boxing fan is outlandish. DLH-anyone is a huge event, and must be taken seriously, especially if it's an undefeated international star like Hatton. Yes, DLH would be favored but it's not the mismatch you are making it out to be. DLH is no spring chicken, and this fight would happen after ANOTHER year of inactivity for him, against a guy who's going to come after him and make him fight all night long.
Do I think DLH will win? Yes, but I think it's a competitive fight with plenty of solid action. I'd much rather see DLH-Cotto and Mayweather-Hatton, but I'll take this if those fights aren't going to happen.
"Me and Hatton would be a fight"
And de la hoya says lots of things, he said he was gonna fight tito instead of mayweather, and you know what he did after that.Comment

The shine has long been off DLH-Tito II in my opinion. It's an interesting fight, yes, but it's not a mega event like DLH-PBF or like DLH-Cotto or DLH-Hatton would be (because of the international appeal in Hatton's case). DLH-Tito II would be ridiculed by some as a cash-grab for two past-prime fighters.Comment

You guys don't understand. This is a man's legacy ON THE LINE. Floyd is the guy that EVERYONE wants to fight. Right now it's Floyd and Oscar. Oscar because of the payday and Floyd because EVERYONE wants to be the guy that beats Floyd. Hell, I wanna step into the ring against Floyd just incase I beat him(which obviously won't happen) because he's undefeated, ranked p4p #1 and is the champ. EVERYONE in that division, or maybe even other divisions, wants to be the guy that beats Floyd because THAT would be a huge accomplishment. "I was the guy...that beat Floyd Mayweather." is what everyone wants to say.
Hatton wants to fight Mayweather, much like everyone else.Comment
