wow what a fight this would be. both have great work rates and are in great shape to take and deliver many punches. nice!

True this would be a great fight. Both men press forward all the time and throw a **** ton of punches. This one would be a tough one to pick. They both throw lots of punches, but Katsidis has more power, where Diaz wears you down with this volume of punches. Diaz I feel has more variety to his game and that jab of his worked great against Freitas. It would be a good weapon to keep Katsidis at bay, which Amonsot did at times, but got away from it. I would pick Diaz either by late round stoppage or UD. A great fight and it would perfect for B.A.D on HBO.Comment

Katsidis will have to wait until after Juan fights Julio. While I think Juan wins that fight, Julio can't be written off just yet.Comment

This will be an all-action fight whenever it happens, but Katsidis would be best served to wait on this one. Right now, I believe he gets his ass kicked, maybe enjoying some early moments before getting dominated.
Then again, if this is as good as it gets, skill-wise, for Katsidis, then he should take the fight as soon as it's available.
I'll give him this, though - he might give Juan more trouble than would Julio Diaz, who I think is in for a very rude awakening (or at least a severe beatdown) later this year.Comment

Katsidis is just a premature fetus, he just fought a unknown opponent & can't even dispose him. With his face who look's like "Adulla the butcher" after the fight i'm sure he call it "Warrior" WOW ! He fought nobody, he didn't fought any marquee opponent for him to say that he is the new blood in the division, let him take a few months of vacations cos when step in with "Diaz", he'll will take Katsidis name turn into a new brand name of Punching Bag "Katsidis" equipement. & after Diaz slap that greek ass in diaper he will be back to australia fighting "Chucha couillon, james earl jones, momo talek, francesca malignaggi" with those opponents he will have marvelous record with 60-1-45koComment

Is this a mistake by Katsidis's camp? He didn't exactly blow-out the last guy he fought? It was a close fight.Comment

People say because he didnt blowout Czar like its a fault , I look at it little different , Czar has a fantastic chin and was in great shape and even though a youngster coming up he looked world class to me , dam that accidental headbutt was a knockout and he didnt flinch , Czar has some kind of beard I can tell you , Diaz might not take the same shot as Czar , Mick has some very good tools , he is very physical , throw lots of crisp accurate hard punches from many angles and he has a winning heart and determination as big as texas , I know Diaz is a very big task for him and Mick is the big underdog , so was the similar styled Jeff Fenech when robbed in Vegas in sluggout with the great Azumah Nelson , when another aussie Jeff Harding just refused to lose the light-Heavy title in a slugfest with Andrees ,, I have a feeling Rocky Katsidis might just shock the world in another war .Comment

Diaz will jab this kid to death, and I like Michael Katsidis more but it's the truth that he can't beat Diaz.Comment
