I was way too drunk by that stage to make an informed call, but from What I saw I think Winky didn't look as sharp as he usually did. Hopkins just out worked him I think. Botton Line for Winky is just don't **** with your Weight like that, he was giving away too much to Bhop.

Winky was a little sloppy and went to sleep in the 12th but Bernard is just a master. I don't know if he'd beat Calzaghe but Bernard knows how to outsmart you. He didn't knock Winky out or hurt him really bad(besides the headbutt) but he made him look bad and of course won the fight.

the same people saying winky didnt look like winky were probably the same people last year saying something was wrong with tarver because he didnt look as good as usual. Face it, them not looking good is caused by Bernard dominating them, simple as that.

Fair Point, he has that ablity. But, I think WInky gave away too much and believed he was invincible and paid the price with Bhop.

It wasn't his style to move forwards aggressively and punch......as usual, Hopkins had more self-control, just fighting enough to win.

I was thinking the same that Winky was sloppy but some had to do with Hopkins being crafty. Hopkins said before the fight that Winky had bad balance & damn he was right. I also think that the other reason he looked sloppy was that he was tired as hell from the 10th on.

Winky is used to guys like Vargas, Tito, Taylor, Quartey, Mosley either being smaller or standing right in front of him and coming forward...Hopkins was bigger, but also gave too many angles which made Winky miss...when you miss a lot, you look sloppy as well as tire much quicker...

Hopkin's defense and movement combined with the extra weight made the difference...

Yeah Hopkins was doing little movements too off set Wink's jab and. And he would duck low enough for Winky to miss the chopping hooks he normally lands. But there's no shame in losing to Bernard.

That actually is Winky's style...he holds his gloves up to catch punches AND moves forward with jabs...he doesn't run or do angles...just comes forward with gloves high and sharp jabs...

Hopkins just didn't let him land those jabs, gave too many angles to land power punches and made him pay for coming forward too much...

Only time I have seen Winky move was when he was trying to survive Taylor...though I did hear Winky was a mover early in his career...
