Calzone will wait a few years to fight Hopkins...Hopkins after all still has a little life left in him.

In the meantime Calzone can line up a re-match with Manfredo...if he beats Kessler.

If Hopkins was busy for every minute of every round he'd quite possibly decision Calzaghe. Hopkins is bloody awesome against southpaws and add in the fact that Calzaghe can be open to the right and isn't at his best when chasing his opponent then I see openings.

Luckily for Calzaghe, Hopkins has never been that type of fighter and doesn't have the power to get the KO. It can only end in a wide UD for Calzaghe.

if Bika and Reid can make Calzaghe look lathargic at times....what do u think B-Hop will do to him?...I see hopkins beating him on the inside as usual, Bernard will find a way to neutralize his slaps, whether ducking or smothering em'..he's going to get the job done....and plus Joe is a southpaw...there's no way a southpaw can beat Hopkins...too many advantages that B-hop can manipulate..

Hop absolutely beats Calzaghe. By knock-out.

                Bet on that.

I will if the fight ever comes to fruitation.

when did hopkins last knock a decent opponent out? the way to beat calzaghe is to outwork him, and i can't see hopkins doing it at this stage.

Or outbox him and make him miss, I can't believe some people are still underestimating Hopkins' ability to win, no matter what. Calz hasn't proven anything imo, regardless of his age and work rate. British boxers are like cons who walk around with a wad of money in their hand, having a 100 dollar bill folded over all ones, trying to pass it off as a lot of money. Calz' hundred dollar bill is Lacy and the rest are ones, with lacy being an old, stained 100 dollar bill that diminished in value very quickly due to inflation. Hopkins by close decision until I see differently.
