Wald Klitschkos power is seriously overrated

I don't know about overrated and underrated but everytime(recently) Wlad is on HBO he knocks the other guy out lol. He put Calvin Brock on his face. I'd pick prime Tyson over Wlad but Wlad could win if he kept his distance from him and tried to land big right hands and all. Wlad is so tall, and he is definently the best heavyweight right now.Comment

Tyson wasn't overrated. People may believe that because they are too young to remember the earlier version, and have only seen him during the past 15 years. But there is a big difference between the post-prison 90's Tyson and the late 80's Tyson, who was amazingly fast and powerful.
It's impossible to ever really know for sure whether Wlad punches harder than Tyson did, but it is clear to me that he's the current #1 hardest puncher.Last edited by Steelhammer86; 07-21-2007, 03:29 PM.Comment

Are you kidding me?? Did you see what Wlad did to Calvin Brock's melon?? There's no need to analyze records or debate chins, just take a freaking look at that one knockout and then go tell yourself that the man doesn't hit like a freaking mack truck!! Wlad isn't a George Foreman who hurt you wherever he hit you, but if Wlad gets that clean or even semi-clean shot ANYWHERE on your head, you are going to sleep, my friend.Comment

that 38 year old Holmes may have not been his prime, but he was good enough still to beat an undefeated Ray Mercer and give Holyfield and McCall tough fights after the Tyson loss. and, incidently, he was never stopped again despite being old and fighting strong punchers. I dont even remember him getting dropped again after Shavers and Tyson, other than him being in his 50s fighting Butterbean in a technical knockdown.
Tyson aint the greatest of all time or anything, but he had a hell of an offensive arsenal.
