Roy and Bernard were close to having a fight. a agreement was made, then the offer hopkins and goldenboy was nothing that they discussed.. But im sure if they both keep winning, the fight will happen.. I personally think its a great fight with 2 fighters I got huge respect for. I hope Hopkins wins tonight..

How bad roy has gotten over the years, 50/50 is not a bad offer for roy to take against Hopkins. Yet, Roy knows he can't beat him so Roy asks a ridiculous 70/30. Roy must have forgot that he's not on top of the world anymore. When hopkins ask for 50/50 he's giving roy a deal, Hopkins should be the one asking for 70/30 with how well Hopkins career is going now.

He also priced himself out against Calzaghe almost 10 years ago when Calzaghe called him out. I think I heard Calzaghe called Roy out around the same time Calzaghe beat Eubank.
