Now I know why Margarito always wanted to fight Mayweather

He knew Mayweather probably don't have the power to knock him out, so even if Mayweather clearly beats him the way Williams did, he would've claimed he won the fight the way he did in the Williams fight, which he clearly lost.

So the only way Margarito will accept a loss, is if you knock him the **** out.

He lost the Williams fight. People need to stop thinking that it's a domination. If he lost the way Mayweather beats, say..... Baldomir.. I don't think he makes the same claims. The fight wasn't even close to being one-sided. It was a pretty close fight. Williams clearly won, but I thin he wanted to fight Mayweather because he thinks he had a decent chance. JUST like he did against Williams. Who he DID hurt. Not badly, but he hurt him.

Nope not even. If you KO Margarito he'll just say you didn't even hit him and claim he suffers from Narcolepsy.

If Margarito lost the way Baldy did againt Mayweather, I bet Margarito would've claimed he won that fight too.

the fight was close after the fifth round.
but the first 5 rounds williams clearly won, and that decided the match.

Please, Margarito held his own against Williams, it was a competitive fight. If anything the fight showed why Mayweather never wanted to fight Margarito.

It wasn't a landslide.. and I've seen the fight plenty of times to have a fiar judgment of that. I'm not in favor of either winning it was a good fight. I'm just saying.

Lets see how competitive this fight really was.

                    Williams landed 107 more punches
Williams landed 60 more power punches
                    Williams laned 100+ more jabs
Williams threw almost 700 more punches
Williams landed more punches in 10 out of 12 rounds.

Not a close fight at all, I was nice enough to give Margarito 3 rounds, infact I give Margarito one of the rounds that Williams landed more punches.

Anyway this thread is not about the Willimas fight, it's more about how delusional Margarito really is.
