when the best fighter in the world would turn down a huge payday not to fight you then i dont think thats called being overrated. it is a fact that margarito is feared. actions speak louder than words and all you ever see is the cowards running for the mexican bad ass.

You should of finished that sentence like this...when the best fighter in the world would turn down a huge payday only to fight the linear champ for the same amount

Props to Margarito for taking the fight instead of ducking for the Cotto fight, but I think it's real funny that the guy who never understood the business aspect of being a world champion (i.e. everyone isn't ducking you, it's just not a fight that would help out their careers), and talked all the crap to everyone who he felt was ducking him, lost his belt AND his payday by ******ly taking a dangerous mandatory when he didn't have to. I know his fans would've went crazy if he ducked williams, but your fans don't care whether or not you & your family eats next week or not. You can say he kept his "pride", but i dont even know how true that is, considering how he looked the 1st half of the fight. I definetly have less respect for him as a man for the way he bitched and moaned after the loss. When Hopkins lost to Taylor, he felt he was robbed like a lot of other people, but he still shook his hand afterwards and moved forward. He looked like Oscar crying after the 2nd loss to Mosley. ( I think Oscar won that fight, but still, man up...)

Antonio is an above average fighter with decent power and a granite chin. He's also a little whiney *****. If his fans love him so much, they need to teach him how to pull his skirt down. It'll help his image out.

I actually like Margarito as a fighter and appreciate his will and determination, but it's the nuthugger fans that ruin it for me and hope that he gets his ass beat everytime he fights. It's funny how they think Williams is a coward when he went 12 hard rounds with Margarito. I mean he took a good beating in the 11th and came back in the 12th with a vengence and put the fight away. Margarito's fans just need to come to the realization that their boy is a average fighter and if he's slow now he's only going to get slower as the years pass by.

Since when does the winner have to give a rematch? If Margarito would have won I bet you'd be against a rematch right? Exactly, so shut the **** up.
