Amazing ability and just fall off? Yeah, I suppose constant weight fluctuation had nothing to do with it. Even though that's a fact and your little THG fable is just that, a fable. Gee, I wonder how Oscar fell off since he was all of what, 32-33? Or how about Sugar Ray Leonard? Or how about all those other stars who lost between 32-35? Toney and Hops are the exceptions, fool.

Now get outta here with your conspiracy theory. Unless you have FACTS genius. And you must be a kid. Ms. Roy Jones? STFU.

Exactly. And people say well he look unreal against Ruiz, why does he suddenly suck? Remember that Ruiz, although he was the bigger man, hes nothing special in the talent department. Roy with all his talent, would obviously make Ruiz look like a fool. Tarver's another story because he was very hungry, a soutpaw and a good counter puncher. Plus his speed and technique is alot better than John Ruiz. Another thing you have to consider is Roy's motivation to win. After beating Ruiz he seemed uninterested in boxing, he was still doing it but he felt he accomplished everything he wanted. Meanwhile Tarver was at home throwing darts at his picture lol, that probably played a part in his decline.

Huge difference between admitting to taking steroids....and admitting to using an OTC supplement.
Yes, your right, that is what he he in fact admitted to. I should have been clearer so that was my fault.

But in addition to Ripped Fuel (which was also a banned substance by the IBF but that is neither here nor there) Jones also said claimed that he was on some sort of sinus medication. Both of these items are well known for causing a false test. It’s awfully convenient that Jones had been taking both of these. I’m not saying he lying as I wouldn't call anyone a liar unless I had proof but I do have to admit it is su****ious.

But back to my point, Ripped Fuel can result in a positive steroid test. But remember that Jones was found positive for Anabolic Steroids. That is different. Here is a quote from a doctor regarding the difference:

I will not comment on the situation that took place in Indiana with Roy Jones. I will be glad to answer questions in general. Ripped Fuel is something that is sold over the counter, don't need a prescription for it. There is an ingredient in it that can break down and be measured as steroids but a lab ought to be able to differentiate between that and anabolic steroids. So yes, can Ripped Fuel test positive for steroids? Yes, but only one specific type of steroid.

So again, it does not clear him of the positive Anabolic test.

Wow, now that is something I did not know. From everything I read while Ripped Fuel and/or sinus medication can in fact cause a positive test, it is much different from a positive Anabolic test.

I would like to read the article, not because I don't believe you but I have never seen that. That may change my opinion about this.

Alot of people get mad when I post that Jacob Hall said that the commission considers Ripped fuel an anabolic steroid. But thats just what I read, the link is above.

                    Interesting.

I tried to do some research on my own and I did not get a definitive answer. The question is if the chemicals in Ripped Fuel acts in the same way as it does in traditional Anabolic steroids, does that in fact make it a steroid?

So I think at this time it would be fairer to say that Jones was using a banned substance rather than a steroid. It may be splitting hairs, but I think that is the fairest thing to say.

Yeah it sounds to me like the IBF considered alot of banned substances as anabolic steroids. One interesting question is this, if Roy was using the BALCO stuff and getting away with it for years, why would he decide to take a regular steroid and risk getting caught?
