If Margarito can catch Williams flush in mid to late rounds, Cintron will be doing it from the opening bell of the 2nd. You've got to admit, the kid is scary accurate, and has very fast hands inside and out. I don't think Williams' punch output will negate Cintron's power much past the point at which he gets caught flush with an overhand right. I predict Williams will go down 3 or 4 times before either failing to beat the count, or the fight gets stopped by the ref (or Williams' corner).

You have to remember that Cintron is still just a kid, literally. That's a HUGE ****ing wildcard. On any given day, he might either beat the best guy in the universe, or get his ass kicked by a 12 year old GG champ. Flip that coin. His trainer is the best in the business, and I tend to lean toward the former.

This is the fight that I'm most interested in. This fight should definitely happen. I would rather see Cintron/Williams rather than him fighting Cotto.
My pick would be Cintron by KO.

      MAKE THIS FIGHT HAPPEN!!!

i'd like to see this fight, two big ass dudes that like to throw hands - i think that cintrons improved a lot and in direct opposition to what dlt said, i'm not basing this off of hope, i'm basing it off of reasons like the long right counter, the inside game that steward's shown 'um and his maturation from the margarito fight.

have you, dlt, not heard of paulie malignaggie - incredibly, i know, some fighters actually improve after a loss if taken the right way, as a lesson learned!

He's definitely a different fighter today than the one who fought Margarito.
His punches & movements look more fluid now. I wouldn't even mind seeing a rematch between him and Maragarito but he should take out williams first.

this would be a pefect matchup i'm a big fan of both guys, i would like to say kerm could pull it off, but pwill is so damn big, who knows. good fight to be made, winner has a rematch with marg, then hopefully:

            mayweather-hatton
            cotto-mosley

winner of cotto mosley fights mayweather, and the winner of the kerm/pwil-marg rematch fights mayweather. i think thats pretty good matchups

the loss was SUCH a bad loss for kermit that autonomously, and understandably so - people will never see the improvement in his fight game that hes made; but time will tell eventually tell if he has or hasn't. get him in there with a real guy and when he pulls out the W or L - well, we'll go from there now wont we?

but kermit's improvement since his union with steward is obnoxiously blatant to me.

Cintron is still pretty stiff and his defense is non-existant. That might be a problem against Williams. I give Kermit the edge but those flaws will come back to haunt him against a more experienced fighter. It certainly did against Margarito.

I would love to see this fight. If Cintron comes out the winner then I think a rematch with Margarito would be in order. It would be the best way for him to solidify his standing as a WW champ and getting past Margarito would be an excellent way for him to be in top contention for another belt. He wouldn't have to call out the big names cause they'll be calling him out. If Cintron beats two of the most feared boxers in the division the other champs will have no choice but to take him on to solidify their standings as champions. I know its hopefull thinking but with the power cintron has its possible for him to be standing on top of the world if he can land the right hand on Mayweather and truely prove whether Cotto has a glass jaw or not. Yeah I'm basing it all on hope but Cintron does have a punchers chance and with one of the greatest trainers in the fight game his chances could look alot worse.
