I think your right. Boxing fans know what these guys are all about and the amount of skill they have. Casual fans want to see blood and guts and KO's and this fight I don't know if your going to see that. For all of us boxing fans we know this fight is going to have great skill, but the excitement level may not be there like in some fights.

Eh, well superfights are more based on how much hype and interest a matchup brings than anything else...

In terms of the abilities of the fighters in the ring, absolutely, but in the sense of what a superfight really is....no. well actually we'll see how many ppv buys and everything this generates first...then you can tell if its a 'superfight' or not.

I think this is a good question or one that is more appropriately asked..

        It should be said.......... Yes.

This is the Superbowl of Boxing for me.

School will be in session on saturday night.

A few years ago it could have been, but it's not as meaningful now.

I think any time you have two guys fighting who are in the top 10 it has to be a Superfight. Age is irrelevant with Hopkins, and that seems to be the case with Wright as well. They are close to their peak, Wright is just not at his prime weight.

The closer it gets the more excited I am about this fight.

I would say that it should be a superfight. On paper it actually is. But the fight lacks that electricity that you get from a truly big fight. Cotto-Judah got more buzz than this, and that wasn't a superfight.

.....A boring aging fighter who throws 10 punches per round and a guy who isn't much more exciting, and hasn't been impressive in his last few fights either. It's a super "boring" fight for sure. If you are having trouble sleeping then this is the fight for you.

I agree with that.. But the boys are in better condition now being a little bit older - for an action fight.

I'm liking the fact that Bernard's legs have slowed down a little bit.

Like Atlas said - these guys might be catching each other at exactly the right time..

Here is the crazy thing about superfights..

IF YOU HAVE TO MAKE A POLL TO SEE IF IT IS A FREAKING SUPERFIGHT...

                    IT ISNT ONE.
