Its tough to say if Toney was more talented/physically gifted...........however if you look at skill wise I would say Toney was slightly more skilled than Mayweather.

Looking at Toney fight was like looking at a virtuoso. He really looked UNNATURALLY calm and at home in the ring. His ability to slip is punches is equal to PBF but what Toney has better IMHO is that he makes you pay more when he slips your punches and he sets up his counters more than PBF who can still rely on his pure speed to slip hard leads in against most fighters.

It really genuinely saddens me to see how much talent/skill was wasted by toney. He is great but he could've been an ATG with the discipline of B-Hop or PBF.

Mayweather can't do it at 154, he did it many times when he was fighting at 130.

Agreed and many would say that it is clever boxing as he uses his skills to win against the bigger men but I can remember other greats like SRL and Hearns etc moving up many weights and still imposing themselves.

Either way it works for him, its just that its like watching a Formula One car going round the track in second gear at times!

You got that right. The reason why Mayweather is superior to everyone is because of his conditioning, not his talent. He is a train-a-holic. He is superior on an athletic level to most of his peers so there is no one as good or better then him.

WHo is G-Man? I would put money on Toney not getting KO'ed he has one of the best chins ever in boxing.

Toney was a bigger name then Banks, Benn and G-Man, he would've eventually fought g-man, but G-man career ended right after the Benn fight, Benn and Banks both ducked Toney, they didn't want any part of Toney.

Roy Jones turned to god after he beat Toney, so that's how much Toney was respected!

Both Benn and G-Man would've lost to Toney, so you're dreaming about any of those guys stopping Toney in his prime, **** if a guys like Sam Peter and Rahman couldn't stop a fat washed up Toney, what makes you think those little guys would've stopped him.
