If Floyd was not American, would he still be considered P4P #1

*add a "?" to the end of the topic. Ooops.

Interesting question a co-worker posed to me.

Yes, if he had still taken on the same level of competition(in America), had the same exact skill level and accomplishments, then why not?

        good question!

        maybe...

but maybe not because people would say he hasnt fought anybody (like they do now) but this time it would hold more weight because Americans decide who is pound for pound...and maybe simply because he's not one of them they won't want to recognize him as pound for pound because he hasnt fought who the Americans think are best

        hmmmm...

but then again this is all speculation...lol

If Mayweather was British and had exactly the same resume, !! SiN would be creating threads to try to discredit him...

if he had the same speed, power, skills, and fought all the same guys, of course he would, it would still be floyd, jus different nationality.... silly question i think.

Yes but only if he had fought in america, because america is the mecca of boxing and fights that happen anywhere else don't count

well Mayweather developed to a point that family bond, natinonality or race doesnt matter that much because he work hard, have the skills and fight smart.
