They have, if you notice, i mean, i was bored so after last saturday nights fights, i switch on the "IFL" and in between fights they have a ****ing reality show tie in about the "IFL GIRLS" and they are sitting here exclaiming to these beautiful women about how some of them "dont cut it to be an ifl girl" and they get wacked off the side show.

sometimes when im flipping through the channels, i see knockoff MMA events, with centerfold **** in between. I never thought sports would become so tasteless. I miss Pride Fighting Championships.

Dont confuse me as an MMA hater, i just dislike what certain companies are doing to make money and turn it into some testosterone driven fad as opposed to a product that focuses on fighting.

And UFC is just a fad while Muay Thai isn't. Muay Thai/Boran was used for hand to hand combat during times of war and wasn't just a sport where its' purpose was for an audience's enjoyment.

And you don't grope people in Muay Thai the way you do in Pankration.

lol... MMA is not a fad.

MMA is full of skilled athletes.... past olympians, NCAA D1 champs, ect....

MMA is a very skillful fight. It's issue is its mainstream acceptance is fairly recent even though matches of this sort have been going on for a very long time. So you have athletes that didn't start training for MMA until they are much older as ocmpared to boxing.

In coming years you will see the athletic level go through the roof as training has become more accessible to youths.

Boxing and MMA are two different sports. Its like comparing football and hockey. It is two different skill sets.

Someone who fights MMA will not beat a high level boxer in boxing. Just as a boxer will not beat a high level MMA'er in MMA. The mechanics are completely different, you cannot throw punches in MMA as you would in a boxing match.

It is also a takedown, either single leg, double leg ect.... not a tackle.

Alexander took half of India with Pankrationists alone. They not only beat people standing, they took them down and broke their bones. Later on, Pank was adopted by the Indians and taken eastward.

Pankration evolved into the Martial Arts.

Even Muay Thai has it's roots there.
