Bernard is just stubborn as hell. He walked up to Couture, shook his hand, and said "you know if I was in that I would whoop your ass."

I would like to give Bernard the benefit of the doubt on this issue. I have to assume that the interview with B-hop took place before he met Randy C.

Hopkins might not "understand" the UFC, but he is smart enough to know Couture is a combat athlete, (and a very good one at that) just as Bernard is in his sport.

I would like to add that I love boxing, I really enjoy quality mma, but I do consider UFC to be a (mostly) poor example of mma.

Hopkins is 100% correct about the UFC, but my 11 years old son is not agreeing with his daddy or Hopkins, he thinks UFC and MMA guys are the most skilled athletes in the world.

It seems like they have really taken control of that age demographic. I'm not sure many kids watch boxing anymore.

I agree with Hopkins about Merchant..

I like Larry immensely, but he does not always play fair or open.

              It's alot like an ambush.

Jim Gray is a sick, sick man, whoever..

That guy is just downright offensive.

I sincerely believe he's mentally ill.

I guess kids love the WWE style ring entrances.

When I was a kid, I was one of the few kids that was a diehard boxing fan in my school, I think most kids turn to boxing in their late teens or when their over 20.

I agree with B hop that boxing isnt going anywhere!!!
UFC has ground and pound but it is hardly in in the league of boxing in the stand up game!!!

I use to like watching ufc when guys like tank vitor and pedro use to spend most of their time trading blows but now its all about rolling around on the ground!!!

                    Boxing will overcome!!!
