    Biggest Waste of Talent

Who do you think was the biggest waste of talent in boxing. I don't mean a total scrub, but somone who has all the tools/skills to be great but didn't live up to their potential. Some that come to mind for me are:

Rid**** Bowe: He beats a prime Holyfield and then never fights close to that again. Instead he starts talking trash, gains weight and stops training. His last fight with Golota was embarassing, he was in no shape to be in there like that.

Corrie "the golfer" Sanders: A 6'4 power puncher with great agility and hand speed. He just never seemed to have any boxing skill, he'd just stalk his opponent, throw a weak jab and have his left hand ****ed trying to land a big shot. He also didn't seem to train hard and came in overweight for Vitali, a fight he might have been able to win otherwise.

Mike Tyson: He has all the skills to probably be the best heavyweight of all time. Instead he got ****y, stoped training and started partying like a rock star. He deserted his trainer and boxing skills and became a headhunter who got embarrssed by Holyfield and Lewis (and lesser opponents as well).

Meldrick Taylor, for reasons beyond his control.

I think Zab Judah has the skills to do far far better than he has done. If he could finish fights the way he starts he would be one of the very best fighters of the past 10 years.

Definitely Zabdiel Judah. All the abilitiy to be the best in the division but no self control, discipline or tenacity. Very unfortunate.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Has all the tools/skills in the world, yet avoids the top competition. He has a chance to cement his legacy now with the WW division being a strong as it is. Lets hope he takes the opportunity. If not, there will always be a ? at the end of his name.

naseem hamed had skillz and alot of potential. he could have become an all-time great. but sadly he didn't train in the barrera fight which caused his downfall.

Bull**** Hamed did train and lost to a better fighter. His trainer Manny Steward even told Hamed he didn't want him to take the Barrera fight because Steward knew Hamed couldn't win.
