if you watched the documentary on naz, he didn't take the fight seriously, he has never trained properly since he left ingle, he just relied on power after he left.

      Zab - Not enough focus

Tyson - to much craziness out of the ring, 3 year prison-layoff...etc

Hamed - tons of talent and could've been super great but too much ego and show boating not enough dedication to refining his craft. Went to pieces after he lost to a craftsmen.

Tzu - Tons of power and excellent tactician that had huge gaps between fights for personal reasons. Also never made to jump up to WW to fight in the (at the time) best division in boxing.

Calz - Waits till he is 33years old with 40+ fights to finally face a current champion. Couldn't make fights against the top guys when he was younger and the division was loaded. Now he is to old to compete much longer. Best we can hope for is 1-2 fights against top guys in this increasingly talented division.

PBF - For all his talent and potential he has retired just when the WW division is dripping talent. There are gonna be a lot of "What if's" if he decides to not return to WW.

Not what I heard. I think I'll go with what his trainer Manny Steward said.

prince naseem for sure. what made him fight and show vote like he did was his self belief that he was just too good. that made him the fighter he was, but unfortunately when you believe that, then losing will surely make you give up, which he did. it was unfortunate because he really could have gotten better or atleast give some more fights.

watching a documentary of the barerra fight, he looked like he didn't care. he was playin around with who was to have what colour gloves etc.. and he was even playing pool in his huge hotel room. when his brother also his manager came from england and saw, his bro was well pissed lol.

I definitely agree with these two. You made some great points.

Some people may disagree because they believe he was never that good, but I always thought Tyrell Biggs never lived up to his potential. He was an Olympic Champion and an incredible athlete, but after his loss to Tyson (which was legit) he seemed to stop caring.

LMAO!!! didn't train????? That's real funny. I'm sure he didn't know that this was the biggest and most dangerous fight of his overhyped career. He was all show, no go and no chin. Not really a waste of talent with him.

I watched it, so what he pissed about a bit in vegas, he was serious about the fight and knew it could make or break him, in this case it broke him, and lets be honest his resume wasnt exactly brimming with class opponnents.

He's lucky he didnt get in the ring with Morales, he would have got a worse beating.

All the above mentioned fighters are guys who could have done more, but they at least became a champion at one time or another.

But for me,the poster boy for a talent, not to mention a life wasted...is Tony Ayala.
This guy was a truly dominating fighter...22-0,19 KOs,and mean and nasty in the ring.Unfortunatly he was also mean and nasty out of it.In the early 80s he was set to rule the jr.middleweight and above for some time.
But several ****s,assaults and whatever else sent him to prison for some time...and now after having been out,he sits in prison again.

                    Also...Ike Ibeabuchi,between the two...the trophy is named.
