Funny how DLH can suddenly make 147

Anybody else find it all too convenient that Oscar suddenly says he can make 147 AFTER making Mayweather fight at 154? I still find it hilarious that Oscar got the ring, venue, gloves, date, weight class, everything he wanted, and Mayweather still clearly beat his ass. Just makes me respect Mayweather that much more. Oscar knows he loses every round at 147 where he has less advantages over Floyd.

Oh well, just gave Floyd another belt in another weight class. Only helped his resume, but Oscar looks very bad all of a sudden. It must suck to lose to a guy that verbally disrespected you every day for 5 months, knowing you can't ever do anything about it.

Well, the point is he's saying he can suddenly make 147 despite this never coming up back when the Mayweather fight was discussed. Maybe he won't fight at 147, but right now he's telling people he can and easily.

lol I don't think that can happen. I mean maybe it does, but it just seems pretty ludicrous. I know they've messed up weights before, but it was usually heavyweights where it doesn't matter.

Yeah. He tried to pull a Sugar Ray Leonard in getting everything in his favor and he still lost.

I felt De la Hoya was ***** for that **** to. De la Hoya won't give PBF a rematch because he knows he can't beat PBF and it hurts his feelings.

He would probably force the fight to be made at 150 aka "catch-weight" whoever he chooses to fight.
But his frame is pretty small, not broad shoulders and he looked pretty damn small against anyone he fought at 154 or 160.

It is annoying that an over the hill fighter like DLH can invade weight divisions and get a crack at a title, considering he hasn't won a fight in 3 years or so...
Why could Floyd jump up to 154 and get a title shot??
Who did he beat to deserve #1 ranking in that division?
                "#¤%& hypocrits, all them organizations!

I also noticed how it's not all that publicized about the ring, gloves, weight class, money, venue, etc. Mayweather hardly ever talks about how much he had to sacrifice. He just knew he was a better fighter than Oscar, so that **** didn't matter. He took everything Oscar could throw at him and still clearly won the fight. I'm more impressed by that everytime I think about it. I mean it's DLH, so it's not just anybody making these demands. He's a legend in the sport and still a great fighter. I'm sick of everyone calling DLH a faded fighter. He got knocked out by Hopkins in 2004. His only other two legit losses were once to Mosley and then to Mayweather. That's an incredible resume, and he looked as good as he ever has against Mayorga. So faded my ass. Mayweather is just a better fighter when it all comes down to it.

Partially true post. Mayweather is a better boxer, yes.
Would he win if DLH was in his prime? No.
Don't tell me a guy who fights once every year, aged 34, can be considered a prime-time fighter.
He clearly had some problems with timing, accuracy, stamina and letting go.
Yes, there was another fighter in that ring as well, but that version of Oscar was in no way the same as Oscar of old.
You, me, DLH and everyone else knows this.

                    The rest is right on.
