Margarito is definitely a very, very limited fighter. Look at Mayorga. You can only take a good chin so far before you are bested by good fighters. If Margarito couldn't make 147, he'd be a contender at best. I am convinced of that the more I see him fight.

Theres no doubt Margarito blocked a **** load of Williams' punches. He showed some suprisingly good defensive skill I thought.

I felt his defense was suprisingly good as well. I mean there was so many punches coming at him he had no choice to block a few, but there were times he countered good off those blocks. I watched the fight for the second time and scored the fight 115-113 again for Williams. I honestly don't see how the fight could be scored for Margarito, but also believe that he showed he still could be a force in the division. I mean he's an average fighter skills wise and athletic ability, but his will and determination help him stay competitive and win fights. Matched up against certain opponents he would do well others would do the same PWill did.
