Taylor has looked pretty damn beatable lately. If he shows up to fight I think he may be too much for Pavlik. But thats a big if. If Taylor is as lazy as he was in his last fight he will lose.

I think this is a good fight, regardless of who wins. I've not seen enough of Pavlik to make a true, realistic judgment.. But, I think this will actually be exciting.Comment

its harder to stay dedicated after lets say $10mil later kelly hasn't found this out but if he beats taylor he will find out... he is like a young taylor to me i can't wait to see this one!! Its good to be able to talk **** about how your very confident before a fight has happened!!! Cant see him beating Taylor!!! Pavlik is a good fighter but hardly anything near B Hop!!! Miranda is good victory for him but not in taylors class!!!Comment

Pavlik sounds very confident, I think it's going to be a slugfest and I think Taylor has a suspect chin as evidence of the first Bhop fight and the Winky fight when he was noticeably hurt, but for some reason I see him squeaking out another suspect decision, only way Pavlik wins this is if he knocks Taylor out, or truly dismantles him for 12 rounds where there can be no question, unless they pull some Holyfield - Lewis 1 type ****, it's funny that Pavlik sees the same things in Taylor that I see, about how he fights inferior opponents, I've always said I think he could really make his mark on the sport if he just separated from Dibella....Comment

Where is this pavlik hype coming from? i saw the miranda fight, it looked like a combination of miranda having weight problems and miranda not being able to fight on the back foot, Miranda's skills are nothing to get hyped about anyway.
Even then he still hit kelly pavlik with some absolute bombs which hurt Pavlik,
Im not a fan of Pavlik's defence, i dont think he is slick enough,
I havent seen enough of taylor to comment competantly about the outcome, but there is no way i can pick pavlik over a guy who UD'd spinks and hopkins, not yet anyways.
I also think Taylor could get screwed if it goes to the cards, seeing as people belive he has had so many gift decisons, seriously, i reckon he may have to win a clear cut victory, otherwise the judges will do him nasty.Comment

well taylor didnt ud spinks or hopkins they were sd cept for hopkins 2 was a ud and also taylor sucks. think winky wright pressure against taylor which taylor couldn't stop cept with a lot more power. pavlik will take some punishment but taylor can't hurt flies and pavlik walked thru miranda. easy win for pavlik and taylor claims weight problems in the post fight interview.Comment

Yeah 2 of them were SD's.
But Pavik isnt anything special from what i saw in the miranda fight, miranda was just garbage that night and i suspect he overated to begin with, how could hopkins call him the future of the middleweight divsion when he cant block for ****? lol.
No way i can see this being an easy fight for pavlik, skill for skill he's nothing great, can he make 168? cos Kessler is a robot and i would pick him over Pavlik tommorow lol.
Wait and see, i think Pavlik is pure hype, that defence he showed against miranda is begging to be exposed.

I don't know how this one will go. Pavlik proved himself agaist Miranda when no one gave him much of a shot. We'll see how Taylor reacts when he gets hit, and he will get hit hard and often by Pavlik. Whether he has the boxing skills and power to keep Pavlik at bay ramains to be seen. The fact that Taylor beat B-Hop twice is an indicator that this might be a tough fight for Pavlik. However, he may also destroy Taylor with constant pressure just like he did to Miranda. If I had to guess at this point I'd say Pavlik by TKO 9Comment
