I'm not saying tito didnt get beat up, or wouldnt have gotten beat up if hopkins didnt move down to get him, but most boxers first losses come when they try to test their will and skills by moving up in class, ala ricky hatton, to me he lost to collazo, then ran back down.
Tito didn't lose to Hopkins cuz he was small, he lost cuz Hopkins was better than him. Oscar is smaller than Tito and he was whooping his ass.

i have a sneaking su****ion that his prediction may be influenced by getting beat up and KO'D by Hopkins and being Winky's buddy now. Plus remember what Hopkins did at the press conference preceding their fight? Oh yeah he really wants to see Hopkins get ****ed up.

Listen, Tito is my favorite Fighter EVER, no matter what anybody says. But him coming out of retirement is unacceptable, He is just going to tarnish his legacy. Ok, So what? He wins a belt, who is he going to fight? Cotto? I would hate to see that fight, (both Pr's) FM? floyd doesn't fight anymore, he runs and pitter patters, to fats for tito, Cintron? Ahhhh, NO The killer would really hurt him. So who's left? Gomez? sarcasm

I don't know why puerto-ricans like Trinidad so much, he isn't even that good. Cotto is leaps better then Trinidad ever was.

Plus, if you want someone to lose-go beat them yourself. Stop rooting for his opponent. I'm just being true

He got KO'd by ONE elite - Winky was never close to KOing him or even stopping him.

And who's saying Cotto isn't an elite? He may be more skilled than Trinidad but as of now Tito has the better legacy - record for welterweight defenses (14), went up a weight class and destroyed the champ there then beat Joppy in middleweight. Cotto's resume does not compare.

You say he KO'd no elites, but he went up to 154 and destroyed Reid who was considered the best prospect in boxing, then brutalized the recognized champ who had just beat current P4Per Winky Wright (Vargas). When Tito beat them, Reid and Vargas were much more highy regarded than Zab, especially since he was coming off two losses.

Ya say TiTo is flat footed, but all I see is when he was fighting at welter weight, he was so fast with that left hook, you couldnt even see it. go watch the fight some of his old fights, he was a boxer with power, towards the end he fell inlove with the power, and thats all he wanted to do, was land the left hook.at 154 he still the speed/power/ but still the best trinidad was 147,i look at his body at 147 and compared it at 160, and it looked horrible. so i put it together, at 160, his not boxing no more, is inlove with his left hook, and is over weight, and his fighting a great technician, of coures his going to lose, he wasnt the same boxer/power boxer from teh 147 days. Im not making it up, go compare it.
