I agree, the fight was actually really close. Roy would lay back on the ropes, and Hanshaw got in plenty of good body punches to win early rounds.

I agree. I thought Hanshaw won some rounds just off of agression. Everyone was there to see Roy though.

Hanshaw's entrance was garbage IMO. Roy's would've been cool if he didn't have that gladiator outfit on. It almost looked as bad as when Floyd wore it and people were trying to hold him up.

I actually thought RJJ won about 8 or 9 rounds. Even when Hanshaw trapped him in the corner not too much was landing. For every 4 that Hanshaw threw that hit RJJ's arms or gloves, Roy would counter with 2 that would land flush.

But if you want to talk about horrible scoring, you need to watch the 'Smoke" Gainer fighter that took place before the RJJ fight!

i personaly think it was a hard fight to score. i had rj winning overal but he lost some rounds because hanshaw was so aggressive even though he didnt land many shots at all. Rj landed almost all he shots but through a ton less. Good perf though. Hopefully rj gets one more tunefight before he fights tito.

I've read some articles where the author thought Hanshaw won. So how is this a good performance by Roy if it was so close?

Some people told me they think hanshaw won, and that roy got a gift decision.
