I was surprised at how good Jones looked, and Henshaw was a solid opponent. Staying busy is a good idea.

Yeah watching it Roy was good. Hanshaw landed some good shots and he swelled up Roy's eye. I think Roy has put the fear of getting KO'd past him.

if both can win impressively in a tune up fight, I'd gather interest in a potential fight.

I don't care if they were 50 I'd more than likely pay the 50 or 60 bucks to see them fight.

This fight won't happen. Roy always finds a way out. He was supposed to fight Hopkins last year and the year before that and never made that fight. He won't fight Trinidad either. It's all talk and Roy never fails to escape the big fights. I can't believe he has any fans based on him making a career out of doing this. I never get excited when he calls anybody out because I've been around long enough to know he's just talking. No Hopkins, no Trinidad, no Calzaghe. So just end the speculation now.

I like how Roy is looking to get back in the ring ASAP. He seems serious about sharpening up his skills and giving this 1 last shot.

If he fought and beat Glen Johnson that would do a lot for his confidents and might prove that the weight loss he suffered after the Ruiz fight did in fact affect his ability to take a punch and slowed him down a lot.

I thought Saturday he looked a lot stronger at 175 then he has in a couple of years.

thats classic "take away selling". jones is making the opportunity go away by a certain date to rush trinidad into coming back before he's ready. which i don't think this fight needs to be made, but whatever, it's a classic move.

ACT NOW WHILE SUPPLIES LAST, THIS IS A LIMITED OFFER, ETC..................

I got a fight for Roy if he's really interested in fighting soon. Fight Dawson on September 29, unless thats too soon.
