Ricky needs to fight a younger guy in his prime, and a good guy at that.

Cotto would be ideal. Or Malignaggi (atleast you could compare Cotto and Hatton). One of those at MSG would be cool. I'm talking legacy-wise, ofcourse. Everyone thinks Tszyu and Castillo were 'old and shot', same with De La Hoya.

De La Hoya vs. Hatton would be far more exiting than Mayweather/Hatton.

Mayweather/Hatton is the most exciting fight to be made in boxing of the last two and abit years by a mile, that's the Benn/Jones of this generation

And Hatton would make him fight

It will be another body punch loss for Oscar, then they will become partners within a week.

Osar would beat Hatton, and it would be a great fight.

Oscar is 5'10 while Hatton is 5'5...the size advantage would be huge. I dont think Ricky would make it out past 8 rounds...

Hahahah he wants an opponent that will stay in front of him, in his exact words. This guy is a joke. In a few months he went from "I want to fight the #1 P4P fighter in the world, I only want the best out there" to "I want someone who will stay in front of me."

According to him, he won against the #1 P4P guy in the world right? So why would he want to avoid fighters who move, if he beat the one who does it best? Surely he'd beat all other slick boxers too, right? Maybe he knows he has always had problems with slick boxers - but why won't he admit it?

haha are you serious, taking youre a hatton fan, i can understand why you wouldnt want to see him fight oscar, but to mention fighting Paulie would be better for his "legacy" is pure comedy. i mean just say you want to see him fight someone he has a chance at beating, with that said i believe Hatton loses to all top ten welterweights and i can also see paulie beating him as well.
