Most cats on 'net boards tend to like Margarito, A LOT. So, when he's beaten, the person who beats him MIGHT catch some flack. That's what it seems like to me. As for Williams himself.. Good boxer.. Great conditioning, stamina.. volume of punches, tons of angles, gives opponents a strange look, in terms of a target, quite a bit of speed. Nice jab, aswell. However, he CAN be rocked, as Margarito did leave him "jarred" a couple of times. No serious danger, butseeing as how he has balance issues, that could create a problem. He has little power to his shots, as he focuses on speed and stamina more than not. And his right hand SEEMS to be a weakness. Overall... He gives Mosley a good fight.. Beats a lot of good fights.. and probably loses to, but gives a good fight to, Mayweather.. In my humble, personal, opinion.

Got to disagree about his power hitting, DLT. He can't punch for ****, or at least he couldn't on Saturday. Someone else posted it but it's pretty true - it's like he was shadow boxing most of the time.

Marg's chin isn't the point. 1200 punches from a big guy like Williams and barely a mark on Margarito tells a story. Either Marg has titanium skin or there's nothing on most of the shots. At a rough estimate, I'd say he puts some weight behind 10% of the shots that he throws.

His balance looks pretty horrible too. I thought he was going to fall over himself a few times.

Credit to him though, I thought he won pretty easily.

Williams showed that body punches bother him. Everytime he got hit solid he would step away. Cotto wouldnt be able to reach his head anyway. He would have to stick his jab in Williams' chest all night. It would be really difficult for Cotto to get inside against Williams though.

Put him in with Clottey, that would be a great fight.

yall make me laugh. williams would wipe the floor with cotto. cotto?? the guy who had to trinidad judah to get him off him?? judah who throws 20 punches a round?? williams would come at cotto with angles and movement and unleash fury, cotto, standing what 8 inches shorter, would get destroyed. there is NO CHANCE mayweather beats williams either. watch margarito vs cintron, and then watch margarito vs williams. williams takes a punch as good as anybody in boxing, has stamina and heart on the same level as mayweather, and unlike pbf he actually fights and goes for the win. those rounds margarito won (i only gave him 3) were merely because williams elected to stand and trade instead of box because he's a fighter. he doesn't mind getting hit. that one hatton lover said "why wouldn't a fight like that change people's opinions on him?" COMING FROM A HATTON FAN?? pleeeease, margarito would mop the floor with hatton. williams would do it even worse. haters are haters and let them be. to think williams has no power (he looked pretty good vs mitchell, stopping him faster then mayweather and dropping him 4 times) and guys can just walk through his punches show how ignorant some fans are. williams is a beast, and as long as he fights at 147, NOBODY, including Floyd "I will potshot and take half the rounds off" Mayweather can touch him.

I definatly dont agree with the Floyd part. Again, why do people act like the last 2 fights are the only one's they saw of Floyd? He's had fights where he's thrown a bunch of punches, he's had fights where he stalks guys, and he's had fights when he's very offensive minded. Floyd changes his game plan depending on the fight. Dont think that Floyd would fight Williams the same exact way he fought Baldy & Oscar. He wouldnt be pot shotting this guy. He would throw alot of combos in this fight
