I disagree. Hatton has never once been warned for holding, Williams was warned throughout the fight which suggests to me that a lot of Hatton's holding isn't actually tying up the other guy, it's just fighting in close.

With such completely bias opinions, I can see how you had Margarito winning the fight.

I'm entitled to my opinions as you are to yours. I suppose you believe that Williams "destroyed" a guy he couldn't hurt.

Wow Denial He Was Warned About 50 Times In The Castillo Fight For Holding And Even If He's Not Warned He's Still Doing It Obviously We Have Eyes You Cant Fool Us. Maybe If We Put On Our British Goggles It Will Turn Into Awesome Brawling Infighting. Just Stop Please British Fool

            Yes I do.

You, however are confusing facts with opinions.

It is easily proven that Hatton holds much more than Williams does.
It is also easily proven that Hatton has been warned for excessive holding.

Why you would say stuff that can be proven to be false, I have no idea. I am thinking it is because your love of for a fighter blinds you to the reality of what goes on.

Margarito will be a tough fight for anyone at 147, i doubt anyone can beat williams, the height advantage he has is ridiculous.

Go nuts. In the Castillo fight both fighters were warned for holding in the first round. Hatton as an individual has never been warned for clinching, only for rough-housing.

So when Williams was spending one minute out of every round in a heartwarming embrace what do you call it? OK because he's American?

Do you not see how you are skewing facts?

So according to you, If Hatton is warned for holding, then subsequently his opponent is warned for holding, Hatton was never warned for holding.

To meet your standards of being warned for holding, Hatton has to be the only fighter to be warned during the course of the entire fight.

I don't have any problem with fighters holding, as long as they free themselves and do not force the ref to break them apart.

What Paul Williams was doing is fine in my book. What Ricky Hatton does when he is in fighting is also fine in my book.

However, when Ricky Hatton wraps both his arms around his opponent and bear hugs them, I think he should be penalized.

Not at all, to meet the criteria Hatton has to be taken aside by the ref and warned for holding. Not, as happened in the Castillo fight, have the referee call a time out and pull both fighter together to tell them to keep it clean.
